Join us for a 1-hour presentation followed by 30 minutes of Q&A  on how to experience France like a local. Whether you're planning a trip and want to blend in like a local or considering a move to France, this session is for you! This event will cover essential tips for navigating French culture and understanding daily life and social customs.

Learn how to prepare before you go, navigate village life, and embrace French dining etiquette, café culture, and daily rhythms. We'll cover transportation, shopping tips, and essential steps for settling in, from schools and healthcare to city hall registration.

This presentation is in English and will be given by two recent expats to Portland, Solène Gicquel and Emeline Charles.

PARKING

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office. After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
