The Alliance Française holds cultural events throughout the year, large and small. They are mostly in English and are open to the public. Come join us!

Events Policy

The member discount is applicable for one ticket per member.
Guests must pay the non-member price. Please note that a reservation is only confirmed upon receiving payment.

If tickets are available, the Alliance can accept payment at the door by credit card, check, or cash.

Payment:

  • Registration for Alliance Française events can be made in person at our office, over the phone, by mail, or through the web site.
  • Please make all checks payable to: Alliance Française de Portland. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Cancellations & Refunds:

  • Refunds will be automatically issued if the Alliance cancels an event.
  • If you need to cancel your registration for an event, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to the start of the program, and you will be fully credited toward a future event.
  • Refunds must be requested in writing no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled event and will incur a 4% credit card processing fee.

L’écologie à Portland - Staying Green in Portland - Summer fun tout en français

August 5 – August 9 welcomes campers ages 7-10, 1st-5th grades.

Campers can take the half-day (9am-12pm) or the full day session (9am-3pm). This year's theme is Staying Green in Portland! 

Soyons créatifs! Le bricolage avec du recyclage – creations with recycled material, inventing and writing a story, buying, fixing and sharing a sustainable meal.

Soyons sportifs! Channel your inner Mousquetaire during our fencing activities with a master from the NW Fencing Center.

Explorons la planète et Portland! Visit the World Forestry Center to discover different ecosystems, the Zoo to learn about animal conservation, a Farmer’s Market to find new and favorite fruits and vegetables.

Sign up now to celebrate the flavors of summer with a special berry-themed dinner at Bergerac in SE Portland. Oregon berries are one of Oregon's most delicious products, and chef Joris Barbaray cooks with four varietals grown right outside Portland for this four-course dinner. Joris hails from Bergerac in the Doudogne and specializes in the cuisine of southwest France.

The dinner is $45 per person for Alliance members, $50 for non-members. An optional wine pairing with the dinner is $70 per person for Alliance members and $75 for non-members. Gratuity not included. Register online here.

Parking Information

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office.

After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
