Patricia Bourque

Patricia is a native of Reims and longtime resident of Montréal. Her academic background in applied sciences, medicine and history spans the years she has resided in both France and Canada. Since her arrival in the U.S.  in 2004, she has focused on keeping her three children bi-lingual, and assuming a role as a school leader and community volunteer. She is a trained instructor of French.

Required: none. Prepare for CECR A1 level.

Communication: Greetings; introducing oneself and others; understanding phone calls, contact details; providing  personal information; discussing seasons, months, days of the week, dates; sharing one’s likes, dislikes; counting  0 – 100.

Grammar: Definite articles “le, la, les”; adjectives of nationality; negation “ne…pas”; prepositions before cities/countries;  verbs: “avoir, s’appeler, être”.

Phonetics: Alphabet; rhythmic groups; word stress.

Parking Information

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office.

After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
