Alice Beauvallet

Alice is originally from Paris, where she was a public school teacher. Before she joined l'Alliance Francaise, she was a Teacher and a Pedagogical Coordinator in French accredited schools in Portland for 12 years. She is passionate about education and bilingualism and in her free time, she enjoys art, theater, designing clothes and hiking with her family.

Grammar: Definite articles “le, la, les”; adjectives of nationality; negation “ne…pas”; prepositions before cities/countries;  verbs: “avoir, s’appeler, être”.

Description: Edito is a method geared toward adults and mature adolescents wishing to gain mastery of CECR level B1. A variety of societal and cultural themes are presented throughout the book using authentic documents (articles, video and audio clips), including the media, arts & culture, travel, history, the environment, the working world, and more. Edito classes can be taken in any sequence; thus the books (text and exercise book) are used for several terms. Each Edito class covers a different thematic unit.

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office.

After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
