Description: Edito is a method geared toward adults and mature adolescents wishing to gain mastery of CECR level B1. A variety of societal and cultural themes are presented throughout the book using authentic documents (articles, video and audio clips), including the media, arts & culture, travel, history, the environment, the working world, and more. Edito classes can be taken in any sequence; thus the books (text and exercise book) are used for several terms. Each Edito class covers a different thematic unit.

Parisian singer songwriter Eric John Kaiser will perform songs for you in class from iconic French singer songwriters, as well as discuss lyrics, life histories and how France’s rich culture has flourished with this music.

DescriptionThis course is for gourmets and gourmands alike. French gastronomy has been designated by UNESCO as a part of “world intangible heritage,” and as such deserves close study and appreciation. Students will learn about culinary traditions, customs and etiquette through weekly readings, recipes and presentations by the instructor and students. This is part 3 of this series. No requirement to have studied the first 2 parts.

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office.

After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
