Old World vs. New World Reds: what's the difference?

The only way to know is to taste them side by side.

So that is what we will do in January.  We'll have eight wines paired two by two. Each pair will be one Old World and one New World, and we will taste, compare, and discuss!

Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Blends will be tasted.

Hoke Harden will be your guide and sommelier. An enthusiastic lover of wine and spirits, Hoke has experienced every possible facet of the business. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine, attended the  FWS Master Program for Vins de Provence and the Maison de Rosé, is a US Ambassador for Pineau des Charentes, and a BNIC Certified Cognac Educator.

Wine selection to come.
