Charles Coulon is a French native who has been living in the US since 1998 when he and his family moved from Boulogne,
just outside Paris, to Connecticut. He attended college in Oneonta, New York and in 2006, moved to DuPage County in Illinois, 25 miles
west of Chicago. He’s been involved with the local Alliance Française DuPage in various leadership functions since 2007 and currently
serves as its President. He also serves on the Board of the Federation of Alliances Françaises USA.
He is a travel and transportation enthusiast and developed a great interest in the Paris transit system when he lived in Boulogne and looks
forward to this new opportunity to share knowledge about the system with the Alliance Française.
Join us for a new installment of the popular Paris Metro series with Charles Coulon who will focus on Le Métro Insolite,
namely, all those special and unique Metro stations that can be worthy of a detour, or a short pause, as you make your way through
Paris. Several can be destinations in their own right. Charles will also do a quick demonstration of the Bonjour RATP smartphone
application which you can download prior to that next trip to Paris.
This talk will be offered in French and will be suitable for intermediate levels and above. This free event is presented in partnership with the Federation of Alliances Françaises. Saturday, April 22, at 11 am PDT.
