Promoting French language and culture for over 100 years

Cercle Français

The Cercle Français is a nonprofit cultural group that offers twice-monthly free cultural presentations in French. The presentations are always at noon on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at the First Congregational Church, located at 1126 SW Park Avenue, at Madison. Presentations are generally supported by slide shows with pictures and texts, so that students of French can easily follow. Pictured here is a Cercle presentation on "Le vieux Paris" by Alliance co-founder Sabine de Carbonnel.

The Cercle is an independent group that partners with the Alliance Française to host its announcements and web communications. The president of the Cercle Français is a board member of the Alliance, providing synergy between the two organizations.
For the latest schedule information on the twice-monthly noon presentations, call Jean-Claude Balland, President, at 503-645-7281 or Doug Foran, Vice President, at 503-649-2478.

Elle nous en fera part de vive voix, et en photos, au cours de ces deux séances de juin.
